J. Adams Law recently heard that they achieved victory for 74 defendents after a five-year contest. In a complicated matter involving viatical life insurance settlement investments, J. Adams represented 74 of the 700 defendents, and led the joint defense team. Premium of America, which filed the lawsuit in 2006, spent more than $6 million on their case.

The win is significant for J. Adams in several respects. With so few cases having been determined thus far, J. Adams has become one of the leading national experts on viatical life insurance settlement investments. This litigation victory follows another significant victory in 2009 with a $1.3 million judgement, reinforcing their strength in litigation. Stay tuned on more for the implications of this case.
