Editor's Note
When my then-fiancée and I got our wedding invitations back from the printer, I was so excited. My husband was surprised at my excitement-I had seen the proof after all. He couldn't understand why I was so excited since I'd been developing print and web materials for years.
No matter how long you've been doing this, there's nothing like seeing the final results in print or live on the web.
Voila!
Something to Look at This Time
Vision Strategic Marketing & Communications is proud to announce the launch of two client websites.

The two sites have a lot in common:
- Visually, they are both drop-dead gorgeous. Because of the nature of their work, the sites had to be.
- Content-wise, both companies have put a lot of work into their strategic thinking-refining their customer value propositions, understanding their target markets, and really focusing on what they bring to the table. This comes through in strong, rich content.
- They both have a cutting-edge differentiator in their industry that responds to client needs.
- For IBS Millwork, it is important for Architects and General Contractors to be able to review their portfolio for just Lobbies or Board Rooms, for example. IBS' site is the first millwork site in the Washington region to offer a portfolio organized by scope of work.
- For Norton Land Design, the quality of plans and drawings is critical to clients so that projects get permitted quickly and are constructible. Norton's portfolio includes not just photos of finished sites, but also drawings and plans that were used to create the finished sites.
Some of the differences between the sites are not very obvious:
- They were built on completely different platforms, based on how each company is planning to use their site down the road.
- The sitemaps are unique, based on the content and the company offering.
- Their rich portfolios offer different content with varying levels of detail and organization, depending upon what is important to their clients.
- The site optimization will be done differently for both sites.
Initial feedback has been positive:
"OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! Beautifully done. Lots of info to sort through. Great images, key phrases, good descriptions. Well done and congrats." Louis Gauci, OTJ Architects
"Looks great. Nice job." Brian Kriz, Hitt Contracting
"It has a nice feel and clarity." Jeffrey Griffin, Moore & Associates
"The site is informative, well organized and easy to navigate. Congratulations!" Thomas C.E. Jones, Mark G. Anderson Consultants
